The Pre-School
Moving into Pre-School marks a big change in our children’s lives. At Rockers & Rollers we do all we can to support every child emotionally, socially and academically as they arrive and learn to thrive with us.
Learning & Education
Here at Rockers & Rollers, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, which is the learning framework set by the government, to prepare children for the transition into the Reception year at school.
So, whether it’s painting, baking, singing, exploring or rocking and rolling along to music, our children are being carefully led through the essential early stages of their education.
Food, Nutrition & Menus
We all know how important it is to children’s development that they are being nourished inside as well as out. That’s why we make sure that every child at Rockers & Rollers understands all about healthy lifestyle and, in particular, about healthy foods.
Our children are served a nourishing and balanced home-cooked meal every day and we also offer healthy breakfasts and suppers to children staying with us for a longer day.
SEN Support
We are fortunate at Rockers & Rollers to have had many children with extra-special needs come into our settings, helping both staff and children to understand more about the needs of others and challenging us to ensure we are completely inclusive across the board.
We are experienced at supporting children with SEN to gain access to the appropriate support entitlements as well as creating complex school-entry plans, working in unison with the local authority support teams and a range of local schools.

We’re extremely proud of our staff and very pleased that Ofsted acknowledged their hard work and dedication to the children in our care with our rating of ‘Good with Outstanding Features’.
